Canyoneering Class

We offer a technical canyoneering class taught by ACA Pro Guide Garrett Bennett, about two hours from Phoenix, Arizona, in the pristine wilderness of the Sierra Ancha. We are located on the North side of Roosevelt Lake.

This class is intended to provide you with the foundational skills necessary to begin exploring the technical canyons of Arizona and the Colorado Plateau. It is suitable for singles, couples, families and groups interested in the spectacular world that we discover in the canyon environment.

We spend the nights camping in a beautiful pine forest and our guides will provide all meals, snacks and drinks. Also included is all technical equipment necessary for this course.

We meet you onsite at the canyons on day one and begin with instruction on basic skills such as canyon ratings, map reading, orienteering, group management, sequencing and spotting, etc. As the course progresses we will continually build on skills throughout the duration of the class. Courses for the beginner into more advanced canyoneering scenarios may change depending on the specific course being offered.

This class can be offered year-round for groups of five or more privately. If less than five, Please Call for availability
